NewBay enhances O2’s Bluebook service

April 8, 2016

Newbay Software, of Dublin, Ireland, has secured a contract to add functionality to O2’s Bluebook service, including network initiated message back-up which provides automatic back ups of SMS and MMS messages.

O2’s Bluebook service is available free to O2 subscribers in the UK, at www.o2.co.uk/bluebook .

It allows O2’s customers to store their own mobile content, such as photos and videos, in a personal online space.

As well as the new message back-up feature, Newbay has now added public blogging features, video support, personalisation tools for adding skins to bluebook pages, service moderation and integration with the O2 portal address book.

The service offers unparalleled storage capacity for billions of messages, and can process petabytes of data.
